About Kareem Maddox
Kareem Maddox represented the United States at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games on the first-ever U.S. men’s Olympic 3×3 team, after a career that included a 2019 FIBA 3×3 World Cup gold medal and Pan American Games gold.
In addition to recently coaching USA Basketball’s men to 3×3 gold at the 2026 FIBA 3×3 Champions Cup in Bangkok, he spent three seasons on the Minnesota Timberwolves’ player-development staff.
He has already brought this work directly to international schools — a full residency at Khartoum International School in 2014, and a clinic at Concordia International School Shanghai in 2018.
He went on to coach USA Basketball’s men to 3×3 gold at the 2026 Champions Cup in Bangkok, and spent three seasons in player development and basketball operations with the Minnesota Timberwolves. A Princeton graduate and experienced broadcaster, he brings the rare ability to teach the game, tell its story, and connect with a global school community.
